The Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is partnering with Wellness & Relief and ImpactLife to offer a day of health and wellness impact for our community.

WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE?  Chiropractors provide non-invasive, drug-free, and hands-on care to treat musculoskeletal issues, primarily by improving spinal alignment and joint mobility. Key benefits include effective relief from back and neck pain, reduced headaches, improved posture, increased range of motion, and decreased inflammation. It can also enhance nervous system function, reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase energy levels.

WHY GIVE BLOOD?  Every time you give blood, you help save lives. One donation can help more than one patient. Cancer patients, newborns, trauma victims, and people recovering from surgery all depend on donors.  Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. There is constant need for your donation.One donation can help save more than one life. Your donation creates a lasting impact and starts the ripple effect of good.

In the African-American Community, blood donation is especially important as Sickle Cell disease is estimated to occur in 1 of every 365 black or African-American births.  Sickle cell disease causes the body to create abnormal hemoglobin and abnormally ‘sickle’ shaped red blood cells that causes pain and numerous health complication.  Although there is no cure for Sickle Cell Disease, blood transfusions are a critical part of treatment and can relieve the pain and complications that occur during a sickle cell crises.
