Epsilon Lambda Chapter

Greetings on behalf of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated - Epsilon Lambda Chapter:

It is my extreme honor to serve as the 66th President of the 5th oldest Alumni Chapter in Alpha.  Over the past 105 years, the Epsilon Lambda Chapter has and continues to work to make a considerable and significant contribution within the St. Louis Metropolitan area to include the City of St. Louis, St Louis County, and St. Charles County, Missouri.

As we move forward, our Chapter will maintain a focus on our community through Local and National Programming under the theme of “Revisiting, Restoring, Reinvesting, and Retaining One’s Why”.  Within this theme our mission will include seven pillars that will include but not limited to:

  • Sustainability

  • Reactivation and Retention of our Membership through Engagement

  • Ongoing Membership Development and Training

  • Brotherly Relation Building and Unity Events

  • Effective Communication Practices and Networking, not only with our members but with the entire metro area Divine 9 organizations and other Social, Fraternal and Community based organizations

  • Continued Fiscal Effectiveness

  • Visionary Forecasting, Planning, and Service to the Community

Within these pillars, it remains our mission and vision to be of service at the highest level in support of our National and Local Programs that include but not limited to:

  • A Voteless People is a Hopeless People

  • Project Alpha

  • Go to High School Go to College

  • The Brothers Keepers Program

  • The Alpha Mentoring Program

The Epsilon Lambda Chapter, in partnership with the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation, continues to work diligently through strategic planning and partnerships with community partners and organizations to maintain and secure funding sources and revenue to support our national and local programs.  These programs include the issuance of scholarships to graduating seniors from local high schools and College Members of Alpha Phi Alpha, funding of the organization’s Mentoring Program, along with community based initiatives that are led by members of the Chapter.  We will continue our programs that include our recent partnerships with Cancer Research Organizations whose mission is the eradication of this disease.

As we move forward,  we will continue our intention to remain steadfast in these ever-changing times and never ending pursuit to be “First of All, Servants to All while Transcending All” for the betterment of All!
