DWIGHT T. POLLARD,
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Epsilon Lambda Chapter
Greetings on behalf of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated - Epsilon Lambda Chapter:
It is an honor to serve as the Epsilon Lambda Chapter 64th President of the 5th oldest Alumni Chapter in the Alphadom.
Over the past 101 years since the chartering of this historical chapter, beginning with the 11 charter members known as the “Eleven Forward Looking Business Men“ of St. Louis, many brothers have made great accomplishments and contributions collectively as a chapter and individually to the St. Louis community. As a chapter, we will continue to build on our past accomplishments and focus on reclamation of brothers.
The name of this year theme is: “Each One Reach One”
This theme represents Brothers uplifting each other and building lasting brotherhood by reclaiming Brothers throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area which is critical to the overall longevity of providing “Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love For All Man Kind”.
It is also imperative that we continue to work diligently in our community service at the highest level of representing the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated national and local programs which include "A Voteless People is A Hopeless People", "Project Alpha", "Go To High School Go To College", the Brothers Keeper Program, and the Alpha Mentoring Program.
The Epsilon Lambda Chapter, in partnership with the Epsilon Lambda Charitable Foundation, will continue to work diligently through strategic planning and partnering with other community businesses/organizations to raise revenue to support housing facility improvements, college scholarships, mentoring programs, and other community service projects.
Collectively as a chapter and individually, we will continue to Hold Ever Aloft the Alpha ideals in all respective communities by continuing to lead by example.
